PENALTIES
  • Rob Mason vs Sandeep Chodha - Failure to respect in Pit Lane etiquette - Racing Incident
    Chodha approaches the final 2 corners without a front wing and brakes early off the racing line. Mason is close behind Chodha and cannot react in time hitting the back of Chodhas car and spins into the wall. Due to the nature of the final couple of corners it is understandable that Chodha broke early whilst keeping to the left hand side of the track.
  • Jordan Weekes - Avoidable contact
    10 seconds time penalty
    5-slots grid penalty for the next event

    Weekes and Paolini are side-by-side through turns 12 and 13 with Weekes on the inside of 13. Paolini turns into Weekes at the apex of 13 and the two make light contact. Weekes runs Paolini out of room on the exit and Paolini hits Weekes rear right wheel causing both to hit the wall and sustain major damage.
