PENALTIES
  • Philip Morby - Exceeding Track Limits/Track Cut
    5 seconds time penalty
    Morby gains approx 1.5s and keeps a position he should have lost. While it would have been difficult to immediately return the position, there was plenty of opportunity to slow down to let the gap close back up and then return the position a few corners later once the battle behind had resolved itself.
  • Philip Morby - Exceeding Track Limits/Track Cut
    3 seconds time penalty
    Although Morby does move slightly in the braking zone, Taylor is not close enough at the braking point to claim the inside and so Taylor is more to blame in my view. As Taylor loses out I think that element can be dismissed as a racing incident. However despite backing off the throttle Morby still gains time from cutting the chicane
  • Matthew Clipp vs Ben Willis - Avoidable contact - Racing Incident
    Clipp and Willis approach the turn alongside each other and Clipp seemingly swings wide into Willis and slightly locks the brakes, resulting in a spin for Clipp.
