JTM are pleased to announce the confirmation of Matt Maple as driver for the rest of the season. Today take place the contract signature after some especial clauses where deal out. JTM are very confident that Mr. Maple will bring good results for the team especially after his excellent 3rd place at Hockenheim. The team is looking to establish in the league and build a good platform for next season.

The JTM team is very confident for next GP after four days of extremely hard work in the test sessions at Monza. Both Matt Maple and Juan Tortella took part in the test. Matt did 43 laps timing 1.21.225 and his main focus was in BHP duties with the engineers of Ferrari. Juan was working principally in reliability and setup and did 40 laps timing 1.22.255.

The team is trying to know the true potential of the Ferrari engine. After last day of practice Juan, team owner and driver, told that: "I'm starting to know the secrets of the car and I hope to be more competitive next race, I think Hungary will suit my driving style and I will maybe half a second faster".

When asked if he is going to continue driving till the end of the season, he smiled "I'm looking for a driver to complete the line-up so I hope not". Other driver Maple also commented on the session explaining it was "really difficult" to drive the car for a lot of the laps due to a wrist injury, this however will not keep him away from the Hungaroring where the team hopes for more points.
