Team Boss and driver Miguel Oliviera and Miki Mihailovic will be driving Toyota powered cars for the remainder of the 2003 season.

MMRT team boss Miguel Oliviera released the following press statement:

"We're very happy to enter one of the best, if not the best, championship. For us is only the beginning of a long and healthy Motorsport competition. At this point we just want to gain some experience and finish the races. We just received our new chassis and just made the engine deal for the final two races of the season, so we don't have any contact with the car on track, it will be on the Indianapolis qualification that we'll see what are the reactions of the car, chassis and engine. We will start to take some notes of which improvements and tests must be made to improve the car to a higher level, and aim for something more than just finish races. We are a brand new structure with no experience, at this point only team owner and manager, Miguel Oliveira, is confirmed to hit the tracks.

Contacts and negotiations have been made, and we are only waiting for confirmation, if not at Indianapolis, but in Japan we count on two drivers to get on track. For 2004 season, we are studying some sponsor proposals, and see which engine, tyres and fuel suppliers will be better for us, so that we can get to, at least, a medium level comparing to the top teams. Hope to see you all on the Indianapolis paddock. Cheers."
