Team Owner Juan Tortella called a press conference to confirm JTM's driver line-up for the upcoming 2004 F1VWC season. The conference took place during the recent F1VWC Gold Cup Race, near the Spa track in Belgium. Current JTM driver Toby Lock was also present.

The teams 2004 logo was also released.

"I have called this press conference to announce that next years drivers will be Matt Maple and Toby Lock. Iīm very proud to have both at the team for next season and we expect a demanding but promising 2004. Both have shown good potential in the last few races of 2003 and we are sure they will become even better. We are working now on the new car and we are confident we will have a continuing works deal with Ferrari".

Later he add that "In few weeks we will announce next years main sponsor at which point we are going to start the 2004 livery - that project will be in the hands of Lawrence Simpson".

Matt Maple couldnīt assist at the press conference because he was taking part in the Gold Cup race, but Toby Lock was present. Asked why, even though he had offers from teams in other simracing series, he chose JTM:-

"The overall package of the 2003 JTM was the main pull. I loved the fact that we could make some of the more respected guys squirm trying to beat our times, and that really motivated me. The race pace disappointed me a little, but I'm sure that's due to the inexperience of race-setups, and we will solve it during 2004". Toby was confident of "pulling a few shock results out of the bag" during the 2004 season.

JTM also took the opportunity to launch their new team logo, accredited to Lawrence Simpson.
