The 2004 off-season testing is fast approaching and SCUM-Holden is proud to confirm that Peter (Rab) Harding will be driving the No. 0 car for the 2004 season.

"With the constant rumours that have been circulating in the off-season and at the end of last season, we are extremely happy to have signed Rab for at least another season", stated Dan Regan, co-owner and co-manager of SCUM.

The management would not divulge who would be driving the No. 2 car when this press release went to print, but this reporter has heard on the circus grapevine that they are talking to at least four prospective drivers and a decision will be made after some more in-house testing takes place.

Last years F1VWC Drivers Champion, Shiro Ryong, has taken a step back for the 2004 season and will only be used as a test driver with the possibility of maybe driving a couple of races. He has been given a great opportunity in another field and it is something that he wishes to pursue.

One other rumour circulating through the F1 paddock is that a former driver of SCUM, might be jumping behind the wheel once again. SCUM management would neither confirm or deny the rumour, but this reporter believes that it could be none other than Dan Regan himself. With Shiro as test driver, the only other person to have driven at SCUM on a regular basis is EIRE owner William Ponissi, and I do not believe that they would make the same mistake again.
