FinOz Racing have finally completed their engine/tyre/sponsorship package for the 2004 season & are looking forward to the season ahead. Their new car, the Ferrari powered - Michelin shod - FO-004, is currently having some final touches added before it will take to the circuit in the next few days for some shakedown laps in preperation for the first pre-season test at Barcelona for the F1VWC.

2003 IGP3C champion Steve Elencevski is raring to go, we recently caught up with him at the factory where he was having a seat fitting.

"Im really looking forward to the new challenge of the 2004 F1VWC championship & of course the new challenge of driving a new game (GP4).

I haven't driven much since the last race of the IGP3 2003 season, so we obviously have a lot of catching up to do with getting to know how the car reacts to set-up changes & basically getting the most out of the package we have available. We'll definitely be working hard in the upcoming tests & we hope to be on the pace in time for Melbourne."

Meanwhile team owner & driver Kari Koski has been busy closing deals for the new team & is quite happy with the outcome of the engine & tyre package the new team will have for 2004.

He too was at the factory for a seat fitting, looking relieved after a gruelling week of business & is very eager to get in the car, which makes its first testing appearance at Barcelona next week.

"These past few weeks have been unbelievable. Now i have my seat made for the car. Currently we have one FO-004 chassis ready to go. We will have system check run at Monza on Tuesday afternoon."
