The JTM team arrived on Wednesday in Great Britain for the second test of 2004, to be carried out at Silverstone. This circuit is where the team feels better, especially as both Toby Lock and Matt Maple take residence near the track, in the towns of Buckingham and Milton Keynes.

During the four days, the team will be looking to improve the reliability of the Ferrari works engine. To complete this objective, Ferrari has sent ten engineers that will be following the tests closely.

When arriving at the airport, a smiling Juan Tortella stated that "I am very happy with the evolution of the team up to now. We have two excellent drivers and, if we continue this way, we will present a very competitive car in Australia, for the first race of the season".

When he was asked if he will participate in the tests he said:

"No, I came for a meeting with some West directors, and I will stay two days in Mattīs house to see first day of tests".
