After such an impressive performance, who can blame the FinOz team for basking in their glory with yet another press conference!

Breaking News - Elencevski beats Whiteman and McConkey in underpowered car! Yes, this was the surprise headline following 4 days of intensive pre-season testing at a Silverstone track where the conditions changed constantly!

FinOz held their regular press conference in an obviously upbeat mood.

Steve Elencevski' comments:

"A great way to finish off our pre-season testing schedule, with a lap record on one of my favourite circuits. Although the real test is next week in Melbourne.

Thats when it really matters, so we have lots to do with car-setup, as we have no data on this circuit, but our car has come a long way since the first pre-season test & we hope to be in good shape for the first race of the season. Unfortunately, i will only get 1 day to qualify as i will be attending the Australian GP for real & i won't be back till Tuesday morning, the same day qualifying ends & the same goes for Malaysia, i will also be going to the Malaysian GP for real & will be back the same night our qualifying session ends, so i have lots of set-up work to complete before flying out to Melbourne this Thursday night."

Kari Koski's comments:

"I like Silverstone track very much and it was very nice to see i was able to make 0.7 seconds better laptime than previous pre-season test here. Unfortunately the weather played big role on these tests and i wasn't able to complete the program what team was made for the last test. We have to work hard with setup at Melbourne, i haven't done many laps on that circuit, with GP4 i think number is below 10 laps. Steve really showed what he is capable to do and i hope we will have good season opener.

Personally i don't expect too much from there, top-10 qualifying position and some points from the race would be nice."
