Simsoa are impressed with David and Javier's performances qualifying 15th and 18th in the sweltering heat that is Sepang. The motorhome is now a hive of activity trying to see if we could get a top 10 finish for the race.

Lawrence was asked by the press if he was disappointed with the drivers, Lawrence quickly denied this: "I can assure you 15th and 18th, on a hot track, with a tyre disadvantage AND having the 2nd most underpowered engine in the field - I think we did quite well. We were just annoyed that David couldn't get out an extra 0.2 of a second as he could have been 12th. At least we know we weren't far off the top 10, time speaking."

Javier had found it difficult to get used to the heat and was absolutely tired when he got 18th. Still, it's a sound performance from the team before they can imrpove the engine at the test just after Austria.
