After superb 2nd and 4th places on the grid 2 weeks ago at Malaysia, things got even better for FinOz Racing at Austrian Grand Prix Qualifying session. Steve Elencevski was 2nd as he was at Malaysia also, but Koski was able to better his personal best qualifying position by one place and was 3rd quickest. Only EIRE driver Scott Whiteman was able to beat FinOz drivers.

Koski commented:-

"This is not a joke, laptimes are not done on light car, as Steve proved at Malaysia finishing in 3rd place and Kari was on 4th place before transmission failure - this is our true pace.

On the race itself, we have some things to learn like on pitstops we lose too much time for some reason and also both our drivers have complained about the traffic, so they just need to be more agressive while passing the backmarker's.

Our aim is to have at least one driver on the podium and the other around 4th or 5th place. We need the points for the Constructors Championship and it would be a good time for Kari to get rid of the bad luck and really show what he can do out there."
