Kari Koski was bitterly disappointed after San Marino Grand Prix:

"Our car has great potential, Steve has shown that by taking the pole position for this [San Marino] Grand Prix and being twice second before this. Also I can be also quite fast over one lap on race trim, as I think last 3 qualifyings have shown just that too. But my main worry is the long race distance where i should be on the limit lap after lap after lap and looks like i just can't do it. I lose too much time with overtaking backmarkers and my laptimes are far from consistent. This is area where i really need to focus because at the moment i'm letting the whole team down due my slowish race pace and points are given only from race, not from qualifying.

I hope i can do something about this for the next event at Barcelona, it will be hard, but i'm really gonna try and do much longer runs during practice sessions, not just focus for one lap. If my qualifying performance goes a bit down because of this then it goes, i really need to step up at the race."
