Starting 9th on the grid, Steve Elencevski (FinOz) dominated the Belgian Grand Prix as the weather turned dry for the race, leading nearly 75% of the race laps. 2nd place went to Scott Whiteman (EIRE) from 17th on the grid. He finished just over 8 seconds behind, but just to show how important Grid position was here, he lost 3.5 seconds to Elencevski on the first lap alone! 3rd went to Daniel Wilkinson (Phoenix F1) who was 18 seconds behind the winner. With Drivers Championship leader Jakonen taking 5 points for finishing 4th, Elencevski is now 14 points behind and Whiteman 19 points behind with 4 races remaining. Could we be in for a thrilling season finale as happened in 2003?
