Steve Elencevski (FinOz) took victory at Magny Cours just over 8 seconds ahead of Daniel Wilkinson (Phoenix F1). 3rd went to Kieran Ryan (SCUM), with 2nd, 3rd and 4th seperated by just over one second!
With Mikko Jakonen finishing 5th, Elencevski caught up 6 points in the Drivers Championship and now lies only 10 points behind with 2 races left.
Mapes-VO still look likely to secure the Constructors title with a lead of 26 points (and a maximum available of 36 from Japan and Brazil). However there are some positions not secure! Phoenix F1 have closed the gap to EIRE for 3rd in the Constructors to 11 points, MMC Racing are now challenging SCUM for 5th place and are 4 points behind, and JTM are closing in on Woods Racing for 7th with the gap also at 4 points.
Two races to go, and we are heading for a showdown at all levels of the Championship which could even better the 2003 end of season thriller!
