After a dismal Grand Prix from both drivers Matt Maple was spotted in the FinOZ motorhome after Sundays Japanese Grand Prix, reasons for this are unknown to everyone even Mapes-VO team director Peter Van Oostende.

Van Oostende was quoted as saying 'maybe Matt was saying thanks for a great battle in the constructors, because its truly been a great season again for Mapes-Vo and FinOZ really raised the bar in the second half of the season.'

Other reason included Maple possibly asking Elencevski to retire his car in Bazil, however this is totally unfounded!

We tried to get a quick quote from Maple - 'Kari and I are friends, are we not allowed to talk? Or is it illegal, god next time i talk to Kylie in Melbourne your going to think im trying to steal her from Andy!'

Koski was also available for quick comment - 'Looks like you can't talk anybody at the pitlane without someone asking what is was all about. They just won the constructors championship and i was saying enjoy it while you have it because next year we will be even stronger.'

Elencevski further fanned down any flames by stating "Matt simply popped in for a chat & just mentioned what a great job we've done in our first season of racing, which was a nice gesture."

What will this mean for 2005? Probably nothing, but we like to spread rumours no matter how untrue they are!
