EIRE manager William Ponissi was a happy man this morning when he checked his e-mail and found positive results from the sponsor bids.
The EIRE team, which is rumoured to be in financial trouble, was in severe need of cash infusions from the Marketing department, and the task seems to be completed successfully.
"We have spent a lot of time in luring the sponsors. Our marketeers down at the office have analyzed all the possibilities for hours before coming to the conclusions of which sponsors were more "cashy", and I'm glad to announce that we've got 3 of the 5 richest sponsor deals in the field".
EIRE can now concentrate on developing the new car, which will have the first shakedown tests in SPA in January.
