Ian McMah spoke to the GPVWC Press department earlier today and commented on his excellent 2nd position on the grid for the 'trial race' at Magny Cours - France.

"The RED ARROWS team did a fantastic job preparing the car for qualifying. I flew straight back from Melbourne, Australia for the qualfying session, having missed practise in France due to our heavy testing schedule in Melbourne. Whilst the team did a great job, I was disappointed after reviewing the telemetry readout, loosing some .8 sec in the final 2 sectors over my theoretical lap time projection.

Fastest in the first 2 sectors though does not make for a full lap so... I am pleased with the result, particularly for the team as this result augers well for the upcoming GPVWC season races. My Congratulations to Jonas Lindberg and all at TBA Racing, especially considering their 1-3 result in qualifying. I hope the start is clean and we can all enjoy a good, tough but fair race."
