March 03, 2001
Hello to all our fellow competitors. I welcome you to the Dan Prescott International-Cosworth team launch.

This is our ninth season of racing and our intention as always is to do the best we can given the resources available. I have every confidence in our new recruits Tim Green and Alan Wilson and the whole team who are working behind the scenes to give both our British lads every chance to get the job done where it counts ; on the racetrack. See you all in Melbourne for the season opener.

Tim Green - Driver 1

Q) What are your expectations for the 2001 season?

A) The 2001 season is going to be a challenge for both the team and drivers. As a new driver my expectations are high but every driver's aim is to gain the number one slot on the podium in as many races as possible. I feel that this will be an interesting season and a win would be my ultimate goal.

Q ) What do you make of the boss?

A) Dan Prescott has much to offer in the way of experience and expertise both to the team and its drivers. Plus he has had success in other areas of motor sport which I hope he can pass on to me and Alan as drivers.

Q) How do you rate the team's chances in 2001 given the reliability of the chassis and the power of the Cosworth engine?

A) With the reliability of the chasis and the power of the Cosworth engine I do not expect to have a season of mechanical failures. As this is our first year as a team in GP3 I expect a year of learning and team building. It is difficult to say at the begining of the season where we will finish but I would hope that we finish in the top six teams. I am sure that over the coming seasons DPI - Cosworth can create the same sort of following in Britain as other top teams have.

Alan Wilson - Driver 2

Q) What are your expectations for the 2001 season?

A) I'm hoping for 2001, my rookie year in F1, to prove my consistency and reliability as a top class driver. I plan to put a lot of miles under my belt and to score some points for the team. The competition is strong but I'm hoping that a podium finish should be achievable more than once this season.

Q) What do you make of the boss?

A) Team DPI strike me as a very professional outfit with a proven record in F1. I find Dan Prescott a very-much 'no-nonsense' Team Manager, straight and to the point.

Q) How do you rate the team's chances in 2001 given the reliability of the chassis and the power of the Cosworth engine?

A) The whole team package is looking very strong this year. With the superb chassis and the excellent Cosworth engine, we definitely have the potential and I think we have a real chance at the championship.
