This is a popular circuit, despite the very bumpy surface.

It is made up of mostly left handers, causing neck problems for many of the drivers, linked by some very fast and long straights. The first corner is a tight left hander where the drivers are braking from 180mph in sixth gear to 70mph in third. Preceded by the long pit straight, this is a genuine opportunity for overtaking moves even in modern Formula One. From there the cars go into a long left hander which leads onto a long straight. A tight double apex section follows before the drivers turn left into the twisty part of the circuit. After the two hairpins, a long down-hill left hander leads them to a right hand bend that is followed by the long curve that becomes the start/finish straight.

The first GPVWC race at Interlagos was a roaring success.

Kris Pusaka dominated the entire weekend by taking Pole Position, leading from start to finish and gaining that all important Fastest Lap. Thomas Kimmich pushed him hard in his Silver Angels BMW, but was having a rare 'off-weekend' and was unable to keep pace during the race. Strangely, eventual Drivers Champion Jason Endean was also a little slower than usual and ended up with 3rd place.
