Platform Michelangelo driver Jeroen Jansen was the fastest man on track in the qualifying session for the 2008 GPVWC British Grand Prix. The Dutchman got his second ever pole position with a very convincing margin over William Ponissi, who followed second on Nordsjoen.

Third place went to debutant Luke McKee, son of GPVWC legend Mal, on his first appearance as Synergetic Motorsport's second driver.

With Mark Wicks doubtful for the race, this could be the occasion for some of the drivers to close the gap to the top of the table.
