Romanian ace Laurentiu Albu reaffirmed his aim to win the 2008 GPVWC World Championship by dominating the German Grand Prix. The Belami star recovered from a pit-lane start to win and find himself leading the drivers' standings. His gain against Mark Wicks was incremented by the Cornish driver's failure to finish the race, meaning Albu had a net-advantage of 10 points to boost his position.

Behind Laurentiu Albu, William Ponissi made two podiums in a row, getting to the line only one minute behind the race winner and finally beating his eternal rival Mal McKee, who classified third. The GPVWC now moves to the Hungaroring for round 11 of this exciting racing season!
