Daniel Ortega Racing - better known as DOR - enjoyed a somewhat successful season, with drivers Nikos Evangelidakis and Leontin Nemet driving respectably in the mid pack and scoring good points and new hotshot Jason Muscat doing extremely well in the last few races of the year.

With the 2010 season approaching, rumours surrounding the Gijon, Spain, based team are growing, with the hyportesis of a takeover by a yet unnamed group being circulated in the paddock.

"Nothing is to be announced just yet" said a visibly tanned Nikos Evangelidakis, who has been acting as caretaker of the team for most of 2009, "and the only thing I am allowed to say before the start of Winter testing is that DOR is extremely proud of its achievements in 2009 and would like to thank all drivers and personnel for an exciting year."

With uncertainty on the team's outlook for 2010, drivers Nemet and Muscat remain waiting for an official offer to renew their contracts.
