European Williamson Dynamics have been able to confirm today that Belgian veteran, Marco Vandenbroeck and British newcomer, Gregg Lawson will be arriving at their Lancaster base over the weekend to inspect the team's recently updated facilities, have an initial seat fitting and view the team's base chassis concept ahead of its GPVWC crash safety testing.

The drivers have yet to put pen to paper, but many insiders believe the deal is for all intents and purposes, a done one.

The team have endured a turbulent winter, with uncertanties hovering over the team's entries in other areas motorsport, the team's commitment to the GPVWC Superleague has allowed them to remain focussed.

"Our financial situation is strong, but the sim racing world is changing. I have to admit that GPVWC has been an utter pleasure to work toward compared with other areas where we field teams." stated team boss, Ben Williamson

"We have so many talented drivers within the team, it's proving a real headache to assign everyone and find a way to showcase all we have to offer. With Marco, Gregg and the Superleague though, we feel we have a perfect setup and we can't wait for the new season."

EWDF1 have also announced a series of merchandise for 2010, in order to continue their relentless campaign of self-promotion.

"This stuff is of high quality, and reasonably priced. We genuinely think we may get a bit of interest, because it looks smart. We've avoided all the geeky one-liners, and cliched designs that prevent such stuff selling. It's pure motorsport, we're very excited."

These items are expected to be available when the team unveils it's new logo, website, livery and branding in a few weeks time.

The team assure us that more details will be released soon.
