Footage of the new Woods Racing 2010 challenger has been found uploaded onto video sharing website YouTube. The footage had clearly been taken secretly without the team's knowledge during a private test at Wiltshire? Castle Combe circuit on 3rd February.

When interviewed a team spokesman said, ?e hadn? invited any media to the test, it was private, but during the day we spotted a few people around the track who must have snuck in to take some shots of the new car. As you can see the car doesn? have its official livery yet. That will be presented to the public and media at a later date. For this test we used black with a hint of the famous Woods blue. I can? give you any more information yet as to how the first shakedown run for the car went or what our drivers' feedback on the new car is.?

Speculation was rife as to who was behind the wheel of the car. The plain yellow helmet isn? used by confirmed drivers Mark Wicks or Kieran Ryan, and with no Test Driver signed thoughts immediately turned to Team Owner Ollie Woods. Was it the young Knight of Croydonia himself in the cockpit? One spectator [identity withheld] we tracked down who jumped the hedge to get in and watch said, ?he car managed to stay on track at all times, it never left the tarmac and looked pretty quick. Couldn? have been Woods then driving. Must?e been Wicksy or the new guy Ryan. One of them but with the wrong helmet, probably forgot their own one.?

Despite the shaky camera work we can see that the new Woods car has been beautifully designed, with an interesting extra wing over the nose - something previously unseen in GPVWC. We?l have to wait until an official test session later in the month to compare it with the other teams and see if it? as quick as it looks.
