With the Masters Series reaching its climax, work is proceeding at a frantc pace to get the 2011 Superleague and Supercup ready. As the GPVWC's open-wheeler competitors return from the winter break (at least those not driving BMWs on historical tracks!), the days in the run-up to Christmas will be filled with news and announcements for the forthcoming season.

The GPVWC Administration has taken part in a lengthy process of negotiations with to tick all the boxes in the preparations, with the search for a Mod for the new season one of the most crucial part of the off-season; likewise, a list of tracks forming up the calendar has been drafted, together with dates and times - and most importantly, teams have been selected to take part in the 2011 Championship.

Friday 17th December will see the 2011 Superleague Entry List being released to the public, while the following day, on Saturday, the Calendar will be released together with information regarding the Mods which will be used in both Superleague and Supercup. The weekend will also see the release to the public of the new GPVWC Forum, which replaces the one currently used (which will remain available for historical reasons).

The last few days before Christmas will be available for all teams to familiarise themselves with the new Regulations and start producing the required material for the new season, such as team logos, liveries and helmets. The GPVWC Offices will remain closed between December 23rd and January 2nd for the Christmas and New Year celebrations, leading up to the start of the suppliers' bidding and testing season in January and February.

The 2011 Season is almost here - get ready!
