The flurry of rumours regarding 2010's surprise package of the season, Red Archer VRT, put the team in the spotlight from the very opening of 2011. Team Manager Nikos Evangelidakis, who is widely expected to retain the testing seat he occupied for most of 2010, has put some of the many stories surrounding his team to rest as he confirmed his limited involvement with racing in the forthcoming season.

"Red Archer feels obliged to respond to "Rumours and confirmed deals" only few days before the official drivers signings are announced!" said the Greek. "I can now confirm that I will still race with Red Archer as a test/reserve driver while Leontin Nemet is uncertain for new season due to increased personal obligations." For the seat of main drivers, the Rethymno-based team will count on two talented young men but experienced simracers that can surely help for a season as good as the previous one - or even better, in the expectations of manager Evangelidakis.

The Red Archer team, one of the busiest on the internet and most active within the Superleague, also released a statement in which it announced the launch of a revamped website, scheduled for next week. The team's schedule also include the unveiling of the official drivers' lineup before the end of 2010 and the first test outing in mid January, with the final car livery unveling likely to happen in mid February.
