There was great excitement at the ST Racing headquarters today when team principal, Mark Fuller, received great news from two sources. Firstly, he received news that the car graphics had been completed, along with the newly acquired team mobile HQ. Secondly, as part of the Renault's bid to keep ST Racing in their portfolio, they sent along one of their up and coming stars, Jan Charouz.

Just after midday, the STR02-11 arrived back at the ST Racing HQ in Chandler's Ford. Team Principal Fuller had hastily contacted the team members and a select few members of the press to witness the arrival of the STR02-11. As the car was unloaded, there was an expectant hush, followed by a spontaneous round of applause. The STR02-11 was everything that Fuller was hoping for, reflecting his favourite road car, the Focus RS [In Lime Green of course]. There followed several minutes of frantic flash photography as the selected press took their first pictures of the 2011 car.

Having got both Fuller's and Dave Stanton's cars safely back in to the factory, the day got even better when Renault star Jan Charouz arrived at the Chandler's Ford factory. Charouz told the waiting press that he "Was excited to be at the launch of the ST Racing car, as he had heard good things from his Renault bosses". He added, " It was really nice day. I met with all members of the team and I had time to talk with Mark Fuller, Dave Stanton and Luke McKee. I several attended meetings with engineers and drivers, which of course was interesting and beneficial for me. It was a great experience. Moreover, the team worked in great a atmosphere thanks to the relaxed atmosphere instilled by team principal, Fuller. If I don't get a drive at Renault this season, I may try and get some time with the ST Racing boys". Charouz is believed to be returning to the factory in the near future to test drive the STR02-11.

As the day drew to a close, team principal Fuller said, "Today was an unexpected, but great day for ST Racing. We got the car back early and boy, doesn't it look great. To cap it all off, Jan popped in to see us and we got some great shots of the car and Jan. Renault seem to be putting a lot of effort in to us this year, so let's hope that we can repay their commitment".
