Morris qualified third, behind an amazing Jason Muscat and Mark Stanton but crucially in front of Joe Consiglio. As Sam Millar collided with both Consiglio and Nick Rowland, the Draig Racing driver lined up behind the leading duo and simply kept it clean, taking advantage of a different strategy and an important mistake by Muscat to re-emerge in front of the pack after his last stop.

But as Morris strode to victory and Consiglio clinched P2 in the standings after a late surge saw him overtake both Mark Stanton (5th) and David Jundt (6th) to finish 4th, the main talking point of the day is the effect the huge development of Red Archer will have on the Championship. With the red cars now seemingly the best package on the grid, and Muscat and Jundt confirming to be fast and reliable drivers, Red Archer could play a massive role in the battle between Morris and Consiglio - and nothing prevents the Greek team to become a genuine title contender on its own merit.

It is clear that 2011 will be a year in which development will make a world of difference - the Superleague truly is a team game.
