The Press Conference for the Austrian Grand Prix took place right after the end of this year's exciting event. Adam Smith is joined by race winner Jason Muscat (MLT, Red Archer VRT), second placed Joe Consiglio (MLT, Nordsjoen Racing) and third placed Lee Morris (ENG, Draig Racing).

Q. Jason Muscat of Red Archer Virtual, only the second driver to take the top spot in a race this season. Jason, How does it feel after the epic battle at the end there?

JM. No words, fantastic race, great battles with the greatest drivers on the grid.

Q. Towards the end of your battle, we saw you lose masses of time. You did a massive stint [26 laps], were tyres becoming a problem?

JM. No tyres weren't a problem, pressure was the problem. I was slow in the last part of sector 2 and in the last sector which helped Joe and Lee get close to me for the straights everytime and take my slipstream.

Q. Ok, and finally, In the last few laps, we saw you leading the train when coming to lap Ryan Walker. Do you personally believe that Ryan Walker purposely tried to stall you in any way?

JM. No I don't think so, I was more afraid the first time I lapped him when he slowed down on the exit of the hairpin, which wasn't a good move.

Q. Thanks Jason. Joe Consiglio of Nordsjoen was second today. Joe, most of the battling involving you was for 2nd place with Lee, did you feel any more confident while fighting than previous battles with him?

JC. Firstly congratulations to Jason for a superb win. He really deserved it today. To answer your question, it was quite strange during those last laps, some laps I felt really quick and therefore confident. Other times I felt the car was really on a knife edge and this is obviously not a nice feeling. But it was a great battle, really clean and right on the limit.

Q. You've congratulated Jason there, how important do you think it was for Jason to win at this stage in the championship?

JC. Obviously Jason is a geniune contender for the title. Lee has had a brilliant start to season and it's going to be really interesting to see how the championship fight develops. Of course I'll keep driving really hard to stay involved in the fight myself!

Q. Obviously, you've finished ahead of Lee today, How much of a motivation boost is this considering previous results?

JC. Yes its important and something we can build on for sure. As you all know, Lee and myself have been really close in a few races this year, today I just managed to finish ahead of him so of course that's a great boost to have.

Q. Thanks Joe, great racing today. Lee Morris of Draig took the final podium spot today. Lee, can you pinpoint any faults today?

LM. Not really, I made a few mistakes which cost me maybe 3 seconds in total, but nothing that cost me any significant time. I don't think the car was quite up to it today, Jason has a great package available to him now and he is fully making use of it. Agreat drive by Jason and also Joe, was a pleasure to race with them both.

Q. How pleased are you that there are more challengers to race wins?

LM. It does make it more interesting for sure to have more challengers for the win as strategy is key to the races at the moment. I really enjoy seeing new faces being able to win, and today proved that many drivers can win still in GPVWC and I think that is a real good advert for the league.

Q. Finally, are you planning to come back with a vengeance in France?

LM. Well, a Championship is all about collecting points. I have scored in all 6 races to date and this is how to win a Championship. I aim to win every race I turn up to but it does not always work out like this so a podium would do now to keep the points tally increasing.

Thanks everyone - we will see each other next week for the French Grand Prix at Magny-Cours.
