As we get back in action after the summer break we head to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal and taking us round for a lap is Synergetic's Sam Millar.

Commentary: Chris Williamson

Q. How do you think your lap went and do you think there is more time to be gained before the race weekend?

I thought it was a decent lap and there should be quite a bit of time to find yet with setup development and some more on track time. Synergetic works quite closely with it's drivers on making the best setup we can for the race weekend.

Q. The track here at Montreal is considered to be quite a challenging circuit by many, but what's your opinion of the track? In your opinion which sections require the most bravery/skill?

The first and last sector is the most challenging especially the final corner. Some people call it just another Monaco without all of the buildings. It's a hard job to keep it out of the wall while pushing 100%, braking a fraction too late and it can be race over.

Q. How would you describe your driving style?

My style is known to be very aggressive around the paddock between the drivers and managers and apparently I'm not known to be happy unless I'm going sideways *snigger*.

Q. Mexico proved to be a rather frustrating race for Synergetic, but do you expect the team to bounce back here in Canada?

I think Synergetic can have a very strong result here if strategy pays off and all goes well for us. We've proven we can spoil the Nordsjoen's and Draig's day, possibly even Red Archer too.
