Superleague team Williamson Dynamics is rumoured to have hit financial trouble as it endured another difficult season after a disastrous 2010. The Lancaster/Berlin based constructor, which has been recently hit by the news that lead driver Ojay Clark will be switching to rivals Synergetic Motorsport until the end of the season, has been dogged since its inception by managerial absences and a package that should have achieved more than it did.

Under the interim administration of Adam Smith, and with Clark behind the wheel, things had started to look up for the team: a solid start of the season saw the English driver on points in several occasions, but 5 non-shows of the sister car and a string of retirements meant the team reaped little reward for its effort.

As the season winds to an end, the reported financial trouble of Williamson - which derived mostly, it is believed, from the many non appearances of 2010 - won't seriously affect the 2011 campaign; but it is yet not known whether they could spell the end of the promising outfit once 2012 gets on the cards.
