The Dutch Grand Prix could decide both Championships title races. Nijo Racing's Abdel Damghi takes us around for a lap in Zandvoort.

Commentary: Tom Parker

Q) Are you happy with your times here and how does the Nijo car handle around Zandvoort?

- The car feels very good actually, but thats often the case till the race starts unfortunately. But the car is really feeling promising for the race. I did 1.15.1 in that lap but i already improved the setup and have been able to do a 1.13.6, but that actually says nothing because I don't know what the others are doing.

Q) Is Zandvoort a difficult track in your opinion and which parts of the track do you think are most important for a good laptime?

- Well in my opinion Zandvoort is not a difficult track, its pretty easy. I think that the most important thing in Zandvoort is to be able to reach a high top speed in the straight before turn one, because that will increase your chance to get a good time in S1, S3 is not difficult either, so I think that the most important part is S2 with its high speed corners where you need to find a good combination of grip and speed.

Q) How would you describe your driving style?

- Well its hard to judge your own behavior, but I think I have a fluent driving style, though I can be a little aggressive sometimes.

Q) It's been a difficult season for you and Nijo Racing, but things have improved a little in recent races. Do you think you can end the season with some good results in the last two races?

- It has been a difficult season indeed. I think we are doing a little better then in the beginning, especially when you consider that I was able to qualify to Q2 in the last 2 races before Spa. I hope I can score some points in my home GP and in the special night race of Singapore. I am also already looking forward to next season when I hopefully will be part of the team from the beginning.
