Following the inaugural race of the GPVWC Formula Challenge at Brands Hatch on 29th February 2012, Liam Hatchell is said to have been thrilled by both Ihab Abbas and James Charman's performances at the Kent circuit. As the outfit's first event in over a year, the team have established the third position in the constructor's standings after the first event.

"For both drivers to be in the top ten in their first events for the team makes me thrilled and I'm sure they're very satisfied with their performances." team manager Liam Hatchell said.

"I feel this will encourage them to work even harder to achieve the best results they can, and I'll remain in good contact to make sure that team morale stays high. Hopefully they can score some wins too and increase ours and their points tally this week at Assen".

The team will next be in action on the 14th March 2012 in the Netherlands. You can watch the race live from the GPVWC website.
