In an interview after the race at Assen,Marcus Sundströmsaidhe got a clear view over the series.

"Even if my Feature race was a disaster and let me down on the psychological parts, the Sprint race really was an amateur's dream I would guess. I really found speed and I felt that I was lapping faster than the 2-3 guys in front of me" Marcus told reporters.

The Swede also commented on how great it feels to finally be in a series that is far more serious and more outspread, time-wise."At the first practice session 5 days before the Assen race, I was lapping 1.48:s - 1.49:s, but on the day before the race I was lapping 1.45:s and 1.46:s. I am learning very much from each lap I do in the car and I hope for a good finish at Vallelunga."

Marcus also pointed out that he wasn't planning to do this series but in the last minute got a call from Roy Schroten. He says he is happy to be in the team.

"Roy just asked me if I wanted to drive for his team, and well, I just gave him a spontaneous yes and here I am.It's a pleasure to drive for Racing Team Schroten, I must say. It's not everyday you are asked if you wanna drive for a team.Although it's my first real league year, I really hope I can be competitive this year!"

Only the future can tell if he is right. The Next race in the Formula Challenge series is at Vallelunga on 28th of March.
