With speculation around the drivers having a barney within the team, Draig Racing manager Mike Phillis has come out stating all is fine.

Rumours were rife when the GPVWC parade strolled in to Shanghai with the exclusion of Walker.Phillis stated, "Walker has been an added bonus to our team this season, progressing within himself, showing excellent race pace in all of the testing sessions. When we showed up at Melbourne he didn't even think he was going to finish in the points especially after last season, but he did which made it a much better start to the season than last year. Having both cars finish is great but having them both finish within the points made itspectacularfor the team."Walkerwasn'tpresent at this pressconference, but had handed a statement to Phillis before, to which details shall follow.Coming out about the cars progression also, Phillis stated that the whole team, Drivers, mechanics, aero-dynamacists and even the management are working hard on further upgrades in the hope to catch the Midnight team."Morris stated round Six to be our major turn around... who here couldcategoricallydeny that we can do this? With the way the championship is shaping up, Draig Racing are possibly the only other team in contention to take the Midnight boys, albeit Red Archer with their talent. The guys back in our factory on the Bryngelli Industrial Estate in Hirwaun are working hard to extract every little ounce of potential from the chassis and aero package, exploiting grey areas and setting newboundariesif needed."Phillis finished this press day off with a massive thank you to both his Race Drivers Lee Morris & Ryan Walker, also mentioning that Keith Storrie did a great job standing in for Ryan at short notice last week. Dale Carrick has played apivotalrole within the team addingexperienceand knowledge.
