Torrent Motorsports boss Simon Melhuish has reacted to therecentarticle to come from the CSG team.

"Well firstly the Supercup is all about drivers gaining the skills and race craft topotentially getting a Superleague seat in the future. So with CSG drafting in a front running Superleague driver when a teamless driver could of filled in or even someone from the Formula Challenge.

If Martin is unavailable again for Road America then I have been informed that Jamez will be racing again. They are pretty much a Midnight Motorsports B' team so surely they have drivers lurking around who could be given a chance.

We have had our own driver issues this season when Rickard's real life got in the way. We have drafted in a few drivers from lower ranks, at no point did we consider asking a Superleague driver."

Simon Melhuish declined to comment on the matter any further.
