Thursday 10th January 2013, on a cold and dank morning in Chandlder's Ford, England, Team Principal, Mark Fuller held a news conference to announce ST Racing's team line up for the forthcoming season.

The podium was strangely empty, save for Fuller and several empty chairs. Fuller started the news conference by addressing the assembled members of the press, "I am pleased to announce that ST Racing have managed to procure sufficient funds to be able to take part in this year's Superleague season. I am particularly pleased that we will be here in 2013, following a troubled 2012 for ST Racing. The team was plagued with several technical difficulties in the first half of the season, which seemed to affect one of the cars. Having resolved the technical issues, the team suffered with some personnel problems, which coupled with a tight budget, meant that we were not able to field 2 drivers at every event. This ultimately costs us by the conclusion of the season".

"We have been working hard over the winter break, incorporating the new regulations into the mod for this year. Things look promising on the reliability front and hopefully with the driver line up that I shall announce shortly, a more consistent participation in the forthcoming events. The technical team have worked hard to incorporate the 2013 changes into the ST-R13 chassis, and we are currently in tense negotiations with several engine manufacturers."

Fuller continued, " I am pleased to announce that our principal team personnel will remain the same this year, 2012 providing a challenging and team bonding year for us all. May I introduce Logan Doyle, Chief Designer, David Bisson, Chief Mechanic and Talbot Marier, Commercial Manager." To rousing applause, Doyle, Bisson and Marier appeared on stage on took their seats on the podium. Fuller continued, "Talbot will be leaving very shortly as he is heavily involved with the current sponsorship bidding, but he was determined to attend the team announcements, albeit briefly."

Fuller continued, "Okay, the part that you are all waiting for. I am pleased to announce that ST Racing will continue with their policy of giving an opportunity to new drivers to the Superleague. I will be remaining as No.2 driver in the team, but wish to now introduce our No.1 driver, please put your hands together and welcome Myles Dixon". To rapturous applause, Dixon appeared waving and smiling on the stage. Dixon put a hand up to quieten the audience and said, "I'd like to thank Mark for approaching me about having a seat in ST Racing for 2013. I was thinking of doing FC or SC then I got a message from Mark so I accepted the offer. My target for next season is too get as many points as possible and to finish races." Dixon, from Camberwell, Southwark is the youngest driver to drive for ST Racing.

Fuller, then continued, "With the changes to the driver regulations this year, I would like to announce our Test/Reserve driver - Simon Crain". Crain entered on to the stage, waving and smiling at the assembled audience. Crain said, "I am really excited about the forthcoming year, helping to develop the ST-R13 chassis for Myles and Mark, combining this with my own challenges with my own Formula Challenge team, Vortex, alongside my studies at the National College for Motorsport".

Fuller took the floor again, "Well folks, that concludes the team announcements for 2013. For me it is an exciting line up, but I do have to mention all those folks back at the sharp end, who make all this happen. Without them, the team would never turn a wheel. So, I pass on mythanksto you all, and hope that Myles, Simon and I can reward your efforts on the track. Now, before we all dash off to conclude the final preparations before the season getsunder way please help yourselves to the Champagne andcanapés. See you all in Melbourne on the 28th February".
