In a press conference at the United Racers headquarters in the United States the team CEO Ihab Abbas announced the end of negotiations with Thomas Jacobs in Success as the 20 years old English talented sim-racer will drive car number two.

"Thomas is a good hunt for us this season, he is so excited to drive for the team in this league, and from his CV and the way of explaining himself we confident that he will take care of our goals this season while driving United Racers car number two." Abbas said.

Thomas Jacobs accompanied United Racers new reserve test driver Cameron Brewster last year driving for "The Sixth Axis" racing team in the GRC leagues, and he got some F1 2011 & 2012 Codemasters PS3 experience.

"In the past few weeks I have partaken in the GRC 14 TCC pre-season in which I finished joint fifth in the second Division and look forward to the season start. I do like to create and share my own setup with friends and teammates along with modifying others setups to try and get the most out of it. I have also partaken in F1 2011 and F1 2012 (PS3) championships in which after seven races I finished eighth out of 70 odd in their leader boards in 2011. And became the top driver, Driver champions and constructors champion in 2012." Thomas Jacobs new United Racers main driver said.

Jacobs is a university student studying Video Game Development (Bsc level), and he is a huge motor sport enthusiast and enjoy taking part in Sim racing championships, leagues and seasons.

"Thomas Jacobs started to practice the new Formula Challenge car and showed some good skills at Circuito de Jerez, and the good thing that our reserve test driver Cameron Brewster did very well too as the gap between him and Jacobs was less than a blink of an eye, we are working on develop the setups by studying the car more and more to get competitive lap times." Ihab Abbas UR CEO said.
