Formula Challenge newcomers Simink announced a lineup made up of two GPVWC newcomers
The Simink Motorsport team is pleased to announce a competitive driver duo for the 2013 Formula Challenge season. CSG Racing co-founder, Ryan Gilmore will drive alongside Canadian rookie Nadir Khan.

?Ryan and Nadir will form one of the most exciting driver line ups of 2013,? commented Simink Motorsport manager, Jamez Shepherd. ?We are delighted to be welcoming Ryan back to sim-racing in a team that works so closely with his own. His abilities as a driver and a team leader are well known, and we look forward to forging a strong partnership. What?s more, he knows the team well and how we operate; he will feel comfortable straight away in this environment. Nadir is one of the most promising young talents in the series. He has spent the past few weeks learning how the team operates. He stepped in almost seamlessly. Eager to learn, and willing to make changes shows us he is ready to make a lasting impression on both the team, and the league.?

?The entire team has been working flat out over the past months to prepare for the season, and a top-line driver line-up is essential to achieving our targets. Our recent technology investments, the partnership with CSG Racing and Midnight Motorsport, both signal our intent to repeat the winning ways of our Winter GT success.?

Ryan Gilmore joins the Simink Motorsport team after spending 2012 away from rFactor sim-racing. He will play a key role in the team?s efforts to fight at the front of the field in 2013.

?Having enjoyed a years self imposed sabbatical to focus on my career, I was driven by endless messages from the team management and various media content to make a return to the cockpit for the 2013 season with Simink Motorsport in the Formula Challenge series. Whilst it is important not to get ahead of ourselves with regards to expectations, with the experience I have in sim-racing, having driven in all forms of competition between 2006 and 2011, I am confident that this, in combination with the resource and knowledge of the team will allow us to deliver some memorable results throughout this upcoming season.?

Nadir Khan will complete the team?s race driver line-up. The 20 year-old Canadian is new to the GPVWC series. He will make his racing debut at the 2013 Australian Grand Prix.

?I'm really looking forward to starting my Formula Challenge career, especially with a team that has such strong links with established teams. Up to this point I feel as though I have settled quickly with the team and I extremely impressed with the teamwork, efficiency and professionalism of the team. My expectations for this season are to try and score consistently in the top five. It's a long season, but I can't wait to be on the grid in Melbourne!?

The team?s 2013 challenger, the Simink SFC-01, had it?s first outing in a rain soaked Malaysia this weekend. As the sun set and the rain eased and the drivers got their first taste of slick tyres on a wet track, which resulted in some spectacular scenes for the photographers. The car will be officially launched in a world wide web launch on February 21st.
