The Superleague stalwarts will celebrate South Norway with the support of one of the country's favourite brands

Nordsjoen Racing is pleased to announce Hennig-Olsen Is AS as a new team supporter for the 2013 season.

Hennig-Olsen is the leading ice-cream producer in Norway and is based in Nordsjoen's spiritual home of Kristiansand, Vest Agder. Founded in 1924 by Sven Hennig-Olsen, the company has been producing the country's favourite ice cream ever since: now owned by the third generation of Hennig-Olsens, it remains one of the few major family-owned food businesses in Norway.

Hennig-Olsen branding will be visible on the team's race cars and in all marketing material supporting Nordsjoen Racing's bid for the 2013 World Championship.

William Wangensteen Ponissi, Team Manager at Nordsjoen Racing: "As a proud adoptive Kristiansander, it is a pleasure to welcome one of this beautiful city's and the country's favourite brands on board at Nordsjoen. We want our team to promote South Norway and associating with Hennig-Olsen is going to showcase the best this region can offer."

Vivian Kjevik Olsen, Marketing Coordinator at Hennig-Olsen: "For Hennig-Olsen it is a pleasure to be a part of Nordsjoen Racing and to feature on the cars competing in the GPVWC."

Hennig-Olsen's partnership with Nordsjoen Racing represents a further step in the promotional efforts of teams and the GPVWC Group alike to reach out to new audiences and provide additional exposure to the high-profile brands working with GPVWC teams.
