Hermse grabs first points for Fox since Austria
At the start of the Canadian Supercup race we saw a new face on the grid. Calvin Hermse managed to grab his first supercup points, and a couple of deserved points for the Fox Racing Team.

Calvin Hermse: ''It's great to be here today, and I want to thank Fox for giving me the chance to drive the supercup. The Formula Challenge race was already great, when I drove from P40 to P14, but this is, if you ask me, even better."

"The qualification session was really not that though for me. I qualified in P13, which is great, because I completed my own goals, but I think I had the pace to push more, but that's always afterwards."

"During the formation lap I spun when trying to get away from my grid slot. Some people, including the commentators, thought I was on dry tires, but the truth is, I had not driven in total rain conditions at all. My front suspension was damaged, so I figured I'd take it nice and slow and start from the pit lane."

"I was struggling for the first 10 laps or so,because of a lack of experience and good setup. After that, I could push for the positions ahead of me, which meant I could take P12 eventually. The team was quite happy about it, but personally I always like to try to archive better results.''

When Hermse was being asked about his future plans in the Supercup, he replied: '' At this moment I have no real plans. I got a lot of positive feedback from many teams, and some even would put in a good word for me. We'll see.''
