After a long absence, both Ron Squire and Andreas Wauters are preparing to return to their normal racing business for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone next week.

Andreas will retake the wheel of his Fox Racing beast (SC) after a long break due to real life engagements, while Ron will jump into the cockpit of his Squire Motorsport machine (FC) from which he has been parted since the start of the season due to disciplinary proceedings after quite a rough race at Melbourne.

While Andreas' leave was due to simple time-management issues, rendering him able to jump back into the car at any desired time, Ron had to run trough a series of tests to regain the trust of the league admins and show that his driving style was sufficiently safe and controlled.
He prepared accordingly with the help of Andreas and passed the test due to big improvements in both consistency and the correct processing of on track racing situations.

Both gentlemen are very pleased to get back into their car and hope to see their fellow racers on track. They had this to say to us:

Ron:

"Well, I am basically very relieved that i will be able to race again. That my first race on my return will be at my home Grand Prix is also very special to me. After spending more than 3 months in testing I feel more than ready to race once again, and this time I'm more aware of my surroundings."

Andreas:

"I'm obviously very happy to be back. It has been a quite long period of absence for me (4 races), so my driving is a bit rusty at the moment. My first practice sessions on the amazing Silverstone circuit have been very much fun, and I hope to achieve some serious pace by Wednesday's race.
Finishing the race is my primary goal, but I think adding to my one point in the championship is definitely in the picture here. I also have a new teammate for the rest of the season after Dimitri Demeulemeester retired, so i'm looking forward to what we can do together. Jon MacLean looks like a fast and consistent guy, so i'm very much looking forward to working with him!

I was also very happy to help fellow rookie Ron out during his practice. He is clearly showing commitment, despite all the things that happened in the past and I wish him the best of luck in his race this Tuesday!
See ya all on track guys!?"
