Nordsjoen Racing is looking to assess young drivers in the forthcoming test - with a seat in 2014 an alluring possibility for those out to impress.
After a 2013 season which started impressively but fizzled out mid-season, Nordsjoen Racing will aim to return to its usual heights in the 2014 season.

The first step in the three-times World Champions' resurgence is meant to be the forthcoming Young Drivers Test, scheduled for the 7th of November, where Nordsjoen will take part with three cars.

The team confirmed the drivers taking part in the day's activities will be assessed, with the possibility of a seat in Superleague in 2014.

"The Young Drivers Test is important for all teams" said Team Manager Will Ponissi. "It is a brilliant chance for newer drivers to get their first Superleague experience and for them to learn about the highest level of GPVWC competition."

With the situation of Nordsjoen's 2014 drivers still fluid, a youngster impressing at the YDT might as well find himself in contention for a seat.

The team 2013 drivers are thought to be headed elsewhere, with Jordan Weekes an almost certain departure and Pavel Loknovski reportedly in trouble with the Brazilian police after a nondescript "incident" in Sao Paulo after the final race of the season.

With Dave Carr-Smith unlikely to return to the wheel, it could be a case of a fresh start for Nordsjoen.
