Katana Motorsports unveil their driver line-up for their debut season in the 2014 Formula Challenge.

Hello one and all.

Since I am not the type of person that likes to do things like this in public, or lie about how great my press conference was, I will keep it small and simple by writing this article safely from my home, in front of my pc monitor.

As some of you might have heard, I recently launched my own team, Katana Motorsports. We got accepted into the Formula Challange and I even managed to find two people crazy enough to team up with me. Ladies and gentlemen, without further a do, let me introduce you to Terence Grech and Mark Wicks! *que enthousiastic applause*

By hiring these two fine men I kept my team balanced with new fresh meat and some old blood. I'm sure most of you are familiar with Mark. He has been part of the league longer than I have and made a name for himself by not only being a Superleague driver, but owning a Superleague team as well. By adding him I have someone with experience within GPVWC and someone who's shown his work ethic and loyalty. I am very happy to welcome Mark to my team, and I hope we can make this work.

As for mister Grech, I'm going to be honest. I have never heard his name before I saw him in the live timing. His times however looked very promising and after some asking around he is known as a quick, realiable driver who will take some points home with him. I have faith in Terence and I know that he will bring results to the team. As with Mark, I am happy to welcome him here and I look forward to working with him.

So this is it, the start of what could turn out to be a great, mediocre or very bad Formula Challenge season. Obviously aiming for the first, we will do our damn best to get up there. I trust both Mark and Terence with the car and I am sure they will return the favour by getting great results. Which will then be payed in the form of a pizza party. Because everyone loves pizza.
