New Formula Challenge entry to field solid line-up in it's rookie season.
Superleague runner-up, Lewis Redshaw, has teamed up with peer-to-peer digital currency operator Dodgecoin to start up a new Formula Challenge entry.

Dogecoin became known within racing circles for sponsoring NASCAR driver Josh Wise in 2014. Redshaw secured permissions to run the name and logo in advance of the team gaining a slot on the 2015 Formula Challenge grid.

Ben Warren, who finished 12th in the Championship in 2014 with a best finish of 5th, will be leading the team as the main driver for the 2015 season:

"I'm very excited to begin this new phase of my GPVWC career with Dogecoin Racing. It's an exciting opportunity for me to drive for a new team with strong backing, a strong foundation of support along with high expectations for themselves and their drivers. I'm also very much looking forward to working alongside my teammate.

We had some fun battles in this series back in 2013, and were often similar in pace, so I anticipate some more great battles with him throughout the season, and I believe this will push us towards the front end of the field. Last season for me personally was solid if unspectacular. I did not achieve all the goals I set for myself, so this season I very much hope and believe I can improve as a driver, and deliver strong, consistent results through the whole year."

Thomas Jacobs, who finished 6th in the 2013 running of the Formula Challenge, is hoping for a to return to form after enduring a difficult 2014 campaign, filled with team and series swaps:

"Joining Dogecoin Racing for the 2015 Formula challenge season is a step back into the familiar for me. In 2014 I was a main driver for TSA Racing in SuperCup and the reserve/test driver for Nordsjoen Racing in Superleague, Both of which were big responsibilities and a step too high for someone who had only had a seasons worth of experience in open wheel vehicles."

"Stepping back down to FC was a decision I made quite a while ago and I am excited to see what the 2015 season holds for not only me, but the team. Getting to work alongside Lewis Redshaw and Ben Warren, both of which are experienced open wheel drivers, is something I am very excited to be part of. Hopefully with our combined experience we can provide the team with some great results and aim for a top finish in the drivers and constructors championships."

Lewis Redshaw, the manager of the team, believes this will be a season of being consistent:

"I am ever so thankful of being granted a slot into the Formula Challenge as well as being extremely thankful for the driver line-up that has been presented. Not only are both of them fantastic drivers with tons of potential but both are very good friends of mine. My main expectation for this season is to make sure we score points in every single race we can, even if the race isn't going as well as we would hope."

To the Moon!
