Dutch outfit confirm their line-up for Formula Challenge

On a cold December afternoon, the GPVWC press travelled to The Netherlands for a conference hosted by the Dutch Formula Challenge team Racing Team Schroten. At this conference, Roy Schroten had a big announcement regarding next year; the driver line-up.

"The team has changed a lot in the last few months. A new logo and site. The next phase is getting drivers who can give it their all to make this a success story. After a tense search, we have found two drivers who are very talented, and more than capable in succeeding. The drivers that I am talking about are Tommi Ojala and Scott Berrisford".

#0 - Scott Berrisford:
"I am excited about joining Racing Team Schroten for the 2015 Formula Challenge season. I especially look forward to teaming up with Tommi Ojala who is a good friend of mine. I aim to bring a decent haul of points from each round as I look to add to my two victories last season."

# 2 - Tommi Ojala:
"With a new team I am very excited to return to Formula Challenge, specially looking forward to work with Scott as a team-mate. 2014 was strong opening for me so I am specially looking forward to repeat that and get consistent points for my team through the season."

TD - Ollie Woods:
"It's great to be joining Racing Team Schroten for the upcoming year. I hope to learn from the two great drivers that Roy has lined up and will do my best not to finish last should I be called into action."

Roy Schroten:
"Scott and Tommi both have experience in driving the FC car, and worked together last year a lot as well. This hould boost the team spirit and hopefully the overall performance. Ollie is a great friend of the team, and while we don't expect to miss loads of races with our primary drivers, we are more than happy to give Ollie some chances to compete in the Career Ladder."

"Tommi will also fulfill the role of reserve driver in the Supercup at SRS Racing, as a part of our growth program in the Career Ladder."

"In the upcoming months we will continue to reveal more of our renewal, including the car livery and more news about the Independent Series."

Don't forget to visit the renewed website and to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

The team also announced that it would also compete in the secondary series of GPVWC, but in rFactor 1 and rFactor 2, although it is still unclear in which series. The drivers aren't picked yet, but anyone feeling interested can message an application to racingteamschroten@gmail.com.
