Zedderick Racing finally announces its line up for second season in FC.

After a highly successful first season in competition, exceeding team owner Doug Hilliard's hopes and expectations, Zedderick Racing ventures into its second season in the GPVWC league retaining Latvian stalwart Andrejs Pestovs while bringing in the promising Englishman Ben Willis as his new team-mate.

Ben Willis: "I am thrilled to be driving for Zedderick Racing this year. Everyone in the team is friendly yet determined to succeed and I look forward to the challenge ahead. For me personally, this year is all about continuing the run of form I started to obtain at the end of last season. I hope to continue to improve my racecraft whilst picking up as many points as possible for the team. It is great to be working alongside Andrejs after some of our epic battles last year and I look forward to working together so we both improve. Finally, how can I not mention Doug? He is a great friend of mine and it is amazing to be driving for his team. Bring on 2015!"

Andrejs Pestovs: "Last season I was lucky to find a seat in FC and with some help from some very renowned people in GPVWC. I was pointed out to Zedderick Racing so when I received a new offer from Doug for 2015 it was like a Christmas present for me.

"2014 was the worst season in my simracing career, but nonetheless all of this is history now and for the next season I believe that I'll be able to celebrate my 50th event in GPVWC Career Ladder with success and some quality racing.

"My strongest side is my experience, now I have to learn my opponents' weaknesses..."

Doug Hilliard: "I am delighted to have Andrejs and Ben driving for me this year. Andrejs I was excited to have in my car the second he became available last year. I had a good working relationship with all of my drivers last season and was only too happy to offer Andrejs a seat if he still wanted it. By his own admission, Andrejs was unhappy with his results in 2014 and he too was the first to say that he wanted to improve. I firmly believe he is capable of being a regular points scorer and my commitment to supporting him towards achieving the results he wants and deserves remains as strong as ever.

"Ben and I have been friends for quite some time now and I was more than willing to offer him a drive. Ben is showing much promise as a racer, both in terms of results and racecraft. Like Andrejs, his level of commitment is also very commendable and exactly what I am looking for in a driver.

"I go into 2015 very happy to know that I have two of my friends driving for me and to see that they are already cooperating very well on preparing themselves for Melbourne and for the season in general. I am under no illusion, this year will be tough and we will be up against what is looking to be an exceptionally competitive field. However, though we are mostly about having fun and enjoying the racing, let no one underestimate our desire to fight hard and win as many points as possible!

"Winning some races would be quite nice too!"
