Team looking to build on impressive 2014 campaign.
The Swindon based outfit showcased their new car and line-up ahead of this month's Supercup Australian Grand Prix this morning in France. An excellent 2014 season which saw driver Phillipp Puschke score nine victories on his way to the drivers title while the team finished an impressive third in the teams' championship.

The champion has moved on up to the Superleague, leaving PB Racing in an impossible situation to replace the championship winning talent. In December, the team turned to GPVWC veteran Philip Cullen to replace the German. Cullen finished third in the Supercup in 2012 but has been blighted with technical issues for the past two seasons, limiting his impact and starts on the track.

The Irishman was delighted to join up with PB Racing, saying how much he was "looking forward to working with Tom and Maurice as we look to further the PB Racing project and build on the success that last year was for the team" when the team announced the driver line-up in January.

Maurice Brackhahn returns for another season with the team. The German finished tenth overall last season with three podiums to his name. Brackhahn was pumped up for the new season when the team announced his contract extension, saying that while he had earned some great results, "I wasn't satisfied with my progress and I'm looking forward to doing better."

On the driver announcement, team owner Tom Parker was realistic about the team's chances of matching the success of last year, starting that "the aim for this year will be to try and consolidate our position in the top five of the constructors standings come the season's end. I have every confidence that Phil and Maurice can achieve this between them."

The car livery has been tweaked for a new season. The core concepts of last year's race winning livery return but with a fresh take on it as a new designer was found. The colours return to a more familiar blue and gold that have adorned PB Racing cars since their arrival to the GPVWC.

The team took the opportunity for a short promotional shakedown around the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, allowing the press corps an opportunity to speak at length with the drivers and team personnel ahead of what should be a competitive Supercup season.
