Ex-Midnight driver joins up with Epic rookie Mason in all-English line-up.

Epic Racing has confirmed their driver line up for the 2015 World Sport Series with British duo Rob Mason and Tom Parker taking notes their places on the grid. Mason, who is also Epic's test and reserve driver in Formula Challenge, was long expected to be confirmed as soon as Epic's participation in the series was confirmed. However, they are sure to raise a few eyebrows with the signing of experienced racer Parker, who currently competes in the Supercup series for SimCraft.

"I think this announcement shows just how far the team is coming as are now beginning to attract names such as Tom Parker, to join our already well-respected roster. Teaming him up with Rob was a no-brainer and I'm sure the line up will drive the team even further up in the community's expectations" said a buoyant Lee Davidson, team manager.

Rob Mason continues his learning curve, having already got one WSS season under his belt last season, he had this to say; "I'm delighted to be confirmed as a full time WSS driver for Epic Racing. It's something we discussed when I took up the FC reserve role so for Epic to get on the grid is great. This will be my second full season in WSS following on from last year's GPVWC debut with Cosmo. During last season I was regularly on the fringes of scoring points, but rarely in them. That needs to change this year and the top ten needs to be the ultimate target, with points finishes deemed a success. Tom joining the team is a very positive step and I'm looking forward to working together, there's no excuses for me not improving."

Meanwhile Parker, who is a new addition to the Epic roster, had this to say: "I'm looking forward to helping Epic in their quest to become a recognised name in GPVWC. I will do all I can to help them in their push for a high finish in the WSS championship."

The team also confirmed that newcomer Christian Zorner, who regularly design's the team's liveries will join as a test driver. Of this appointment, Davidson commented "Christian and I go way back to our days competing in Live for Speed, so to be bringing him back to racing for Epic is really a nice way to introduce him properly to the GPVWC community."
