Adam Rouse to rejoin long-time colleague Cullen to replace Brackhahn.
PB Racing are pleased to announce the signing of Adam Rouse to replace Maruice Brackhahn for the rest of the season.

Unfortunately, it became clear prior to Barcelona that Maurice would be unable to fulfill his driving commitments with the team this year. The German driver begun the season with technical issues and now since has conflicting commitments which rule him out of competing for the foreseeable future. The team would like to thank Maurice for all his efforts over the past year with the team and hope to see him back on track soon.

Current reverse driver, Balint Hammer was initially approached about his interest in replacing Brackhahn but declined due to his current commitments in Formula Challenge. This led to the team casting their net across the GPVWC Community to find a driver to team up with Philip Cullen. We were delighted when we were contacted by Adam Rouse about the season.

Rouse returns to the Supercup after spending the past few years working at Superleague level. He most recently filled in at Kernow Sport this season at the Bahrain Grand Prix, having raced ten times for Torrent Motorsports in 2013.

The GPVWC veteran has a long history with Cullen. Beginning in 2008 following the league split, the pair originally planned to compete under the APR Racing banner but pulled out last minute. The two, along with Ryan McConkey created an all-conquering partnership during the inaugural Masters Series in 2009. Rouse, along with Phil Perkins would bring Cullen back to the GPVWC to help out in the development of the Triple-Double Racing Superleague car.

Rouse and Cullen would eventually team back up for the Halcyon Racing project in 2012 in a owner-driver combination. Originally planned for the Formula Challenge, the team moved up to Supercup prior the start of the season. The two enjoyed a season long battle, separated by only three points in the end as they finished third and fourth in the championship

They moved on to be team-mates at Halcyon for the teams move up to Superleague. However the project was ultimately doomed with Cullen having technical issues and the team shut up shop at the end of the year. Beyond the virtual racing circuit, the two have worked with each other in the leagues management steering group and coordinated the earliest versions of the Masters Series.

With only days before the next round, the team is working around the clock to get Rouse up to speed with the current Supercup car. With a steady partnership for the foreseeable future, PB Racing hopes to push on from its mixed start to the year and return to the form it has shown in small doses so far in 2015.
